Prices:

Two Weeks - ZAR 10,750
For every subsequent two weeks - ZAR 8,400

The only other cost involved is the ZAR 1000 fee to collect you from the airport when you arrive, and drop you off when you depart.

Where does the money go?

What is included in the cost: The price covers your accommodation, training, equipment and food for meals while at the Wildlife ACT camps.

For example, the cost of a 2 week stay would break down as follows:
R8400 - Food, accommodation, project related transport and fuel costs, training, monitoring equipment and maintenance

R750 - Marketing costs like Google Advertising
R1100 - Administration cost like Salaries, Office rental, Phone Calls and Internet connection.
R259 - TAX
R501 - Banking fees and currency exchange costs

 

How is payment made

When you have reviewed your quote & itinerary and are happy with everything, you can confirm your reservation with a 50% deposit. Your remaining balance should reach us 4 weeks before you arrive. We will include full instructions about how to pay by Credit Card, Bank Transfer or Cheque when we reply to your application.

We will need the following details from you in order to make your placement in our booking schedule:

• Full name
• Age
• Prior experience/travel
• Motivation to join our project
• Next of kin contact details
• Any allergies/medical conditions we should know about
• Any food requirements (e.g. vegetarian).
• A jpeg photograph of yourself, to attach to the transport schedule (as it is helpful for them to know who to look for at the airport).

Cancellation

Any notification of cancellation must be in writing. The date on which your letter or email is received by Wildlife ACT or its agents will determine the cancellation charges applicable. If you cancel your placement:

more than 90 days before your start date, we will refund any fees you have paid us less R1500 to cover our administration & marketing fees.
between 30 - 90 days before your start date, we will refund any fees you have paid us less R3000.
less than 30 days before your start date, we will refund any fees you have paid us less R3000 deposit and 50% of your remaining balance.
