Priority Species Monitor: Lapalala

My dream as a child was to one day work in the bush with wildlife. Every opportunity I got, I went to game reserves and spent hours in the field. I also watched and read anything I could find about animals and the bush. I grew up in Johannesburg where I also went to school. After completing school, I wanted to become a game ranger, but got the opportunity to attended North West University in Potchefstroom. I did my degree in Geography and Environmental Science that turned into a Honours degree. Finally I did my Masters degree and decided to get practical experience. I was looking for an opportunity for a while, but as fate would have it, Wildlife ACT called and gave me the opportunity of a lifetime to join the team. Being in the field everyday and seeing the animals is such an amazing privilege and experience that makes everything worthwhile.
