Conservation volunteers get camera trapped!

Wildlife ACT received 60 cameras from Panthera for the Leopard Census that took place in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, South Africa. These cameras operate in a very different manner to the Cuddeback cameras that we have used in the past, and have offered us a number of challenges during the last five weeks in the field.

Here are some photos taken by these cameras – showing the confusion and frustration of the Wildlife ACT conservation volunteers and monitors who have been dealing with these challenges.
